My beautiful Finglas

Every day I drive through my beautiful Finglas
Avoiding dogs, horses, burning caravans and broken glass.
I used to drive pass the magical van by the triangular « park »
Selling groceries and sweets until dark
Now there is a modern garage as a grocery shop
Where I’m too afraid to stop
Kids sometimes throw stones at me
It is usually when someone has switched off the TV.
